My Latest Crush!
I just have to tell you … I have a home décor crush! I’ve been lusting after the look of crisp, fresh and feminine home office or studio spaces lately. Can you relate? I see photos of them all over the internet, in blogs, on Pinterest … everywhere. Pristine, clean, white desks with magnificent flower arrangements, expensive-looking jewellery cascading over the edges of pretty dishes and gorgeous art in frames to inspire whoever it is sitting at those desks.
I’m going to be honest with you though ….. my studio space definitely doesn’t look like that but I’m working on it. I’ve always felt that surrounding yourself and your family with beautiful things is good for the health. I’m not talking about expensive things though, just beautiful colours, smells and sounds. You know what I mean? Colour in your home décor, wall art, furnings, plants. The smell of home cooking or a beautiful bunch of flowers. The sounds of music, water, birdlife. It’s all good for overall health, I’m sure of it.
I don’t know about you but I’m into trying to recreate this sort of ‘look’ on a tight budget. Whatever we can DIY to enhance our home or office decor is a good thing in my book. You can leaf through glossy magazines, home decorating sites or Pinterest (drool) for hours and hours but if you can’t afford to buy all that is required, or even hire someone to decorate for you then … DIY is a great option when it comes to home decorating.
At the beginning of last month, inspired by the French chic, elegant watercolour images by Australian artist Kerrie Hess, I got to work creating my very own watercolour art calendar pages. This was a tiny step towards my goal of recreating the ‘White & feminine’ home office look here at home in my work space but I thought I’d share these printable calendar images with you for FREE in the 2nd (and last) You’ll also receive the desktop image version and a link to grab the Wifi Password printable, Newsletter of the month, just in case you don’t have yours already.
I’m already working on loads of other downloadable home/office decor printable art to share with you to match this feminine theme. Along with those I will include contemporary black and white Printables to mix and match the décor theme you already have at home.
The June calendar 2015 printable was a huge hit but it’s not too late to start collecting the Calendar Printables, I create a fresh art calendar monthly page and uploaded it for you every month. I’ll be creating fresh designs as instant download files for my newsletter subscribers, completely free. Yay! Who doesn’t love a freebie?
This month, subscribers will receive (along with other freebies and $10 to spend in the shop and art gallery) ….
