I love the flexibility of being able to produce art and design on my iPad as well as my desktop computer. A large and varied collection of fonts is vital in any designer’s tool kit. Unfortunately fonts (or typefaces) are limited on the iPad. There is a solution though and it’s not difficult at all! I have now uploaded around 50 fabulous fonts, including dingbat fonts to my iPad and I’d love to share the method with you step by step. Here is how to increase your existing font library so you can use them when creating art and designs on your iPad. There are plenty of sites online offering free font downloads in ttf (true type font) and otf (open type font) and I’ve had success on the iPad with both font types.
